Lightsphere II This second generation Lightsphere® system produces a fine mist of light around the subject, eliminating shadows, red eye and harsh lighting effects commonly seen with flash photography. The unique upright diffuser provides an all round diffused light source that enables fast switching between horizontal and vertical shooting without the need for flash brackets and missed spontaneous opportunities. The Lightsphere II® is made of soft transparent vinyl which is completely textured on the inside to maximise the light dispersion and softness. Because of this patented design the material can remain more translucent, keeping the unit from losing a lot of light while actually increasing the diffusion and softness of light. This large diffuser is light, flexible and soft. It fits easily into any camera bag. There are two distinct colours of the Lightsphere II® – the CLEAR and the CLOUD, each with its own snap-on inverted dome. Each colour produces soft diffused lighting that helps eliminate post-shoot processing or client disappointment. Which Lightsphere® is best for any given setting is as much a matter of photographer preference and loyalty as anything. Many pros carry both styles in their gear bag for varying lighting situations.
